We are all aware of the fragile state of our planet and each and every one of us needs to do our bit to help. At ONE Palma we have approached the problem from several angles.

Recycling is, of course, essential and we are passionate about our patented 4T FORTE composite membrane. The only 100% recyclable sail on the market. The only ISO 14040 certified for low CO2 emissions in its productions process. The 4T FORTE sail is made of composite material that is not only fully recyclable but also has 30-60% less VOCs (volatile organic compounds) emission than Dacron sails. (Learn more)

In addition we believe that environmental awareness is the key to the solution. So we offer our customers advice plus the choice of sustainable products that minimise environmental impact such as green eco poxy and eco friendly composites and resins.

But what if products were built better to last longer in the first place? What if we could turn the tide on planned obsolescence through quality products?

Thus evolved our ethos: Lifetime quality.

By producing lifetime quality sails and assisting our customers with careful maintenance, sails will perform better and last far longer. This reduces the use of landfills and incinerators for discarded sail destruction.

Green Sails

Eco sustainable performance sails

At ONE Palma we advocate lifetime quality sails and proper sail maintenance for added longevity plus ‘green’ recyclable sails.

The 4T FORTE sail is produced using membrane technology fused under vacuum pressure. No glue or resins needed and CO2 emissions are lower in the production process. The sails are fully recyclable and ISO 14040 certified.

Eco Rigging

Sail longer and further

Using the best high technology ropes and rigging and with the correct servicing, we can extend a rigging system's lifetime and slow needless obsolescence.

In addition a tailored rig that is easy to manage short handed or single handed means that the sails are likely to be used more and the engines less.

Eco Composites

100% biodegradable

ONE Palma is carving a niche in sustainable yachting with the use of greener composites.

Wherever possible ONE Palma recommends eco composites in the design, manufacture and repair of equipment. Using Organic Flax Fiber to replace glass fiber and Supersap, a biodegradable epoxy resin to replace standard resin. (20 x lower CO2 emissions).
