New sails include A2 and AF1 downwind sails, furling genoa staysail and a Code 3 strong wind jib.
AF1 is an IFS (Integrated Furling Structure) furling gennaker. With this technology, we are able to make sails that are easy to furl, lightweight, and require less halyard tension than cabled furling sails.
Genoa staysail and Code 3 are made out of our top-of-the-line 4T material that is made using continuous yarn, single peace technology, and is fully recyclable!
Zero-sag technology with a special layout of fibers along the luff to take the load of the forestay/furling cable and reduce the sag to a minimum is worth mentioning as well.
On top of that our rigging department supplied some new racing sheets for jibs, gennakers and the staysail.
We want to thank the amazing crew onboard Geist and the owner for trusting in us. And of course, to our friends and colleagues at Onesails GBR East that are official sail suppliers for Spirit yachts and trusted us to build, deliver and test these new sails. Including a masthead Code 0 that was delivered last year.
