Sometimes during joy and hard work in regattas like Palma Vela, we forget to share non-less important news. We were very proud to be a part of first Optimist Clinic hosted by Club Nautic Arenal few weeks ago.
In this clinic a mixture of different groups learned navigation, physical training, tactics, sports psychology and regulations from different coaches and instructors. Of course, followed by practical sailing and competing in regattas.
"The objective was to get the kids out of their comfort zone, their group and their coach. Encourage them to compete and raise their level with other sailors" - said Miki Bover, sports director of CNR.
Our team is very happy and proud to be a part of the young sailors' education process, and we thank our partners for the opportunity.
